I haven't posted in awhile, because I've been terribly busy. If you know me, then you know I've been up to my eyeballs in "3-2-1 Penguins!", but I have not forgotten the little film I started over a year ago. Yes, with the help of a number of talented friends, I am finally going to get my short film out of my hard drive and into some theaters!
The deadline for the Nashville Film Festival is this Friday (actually, it's the late entry deadline). With some extra work and less sleep, we should be able to pull it off!
Once I get it done, I will post more information and give due credit to the folks that made it happen. Especially those who are sliding into home with me.
For the above clip, the credits are as follows: Flies modeled by Bill Jacoby; rigged and textured by Keith Lango; animated by Nathan Tungseth, lit, rendered and composited by Richard Gouge. Voices provided by J. Chris Wall and myself. Live Action plate shot by Ben Smallbone. Poop sculpted by me.
Music & sound FX are currently in the works. Stay tuned!
I won't post the completed film online until it has finished with any and all festivals it appears in (assuming it makes it in). But I will cut together a trailer so you can see more.

Did you get'er done, Tim?
How good does it feel to be able to put this project behind you? It looks great and should get a lot of attention...especially since you had the BEST DP in Nashville.
I really can`t wait to see the finished short. Should be great. :)
Hey Mentor Tim,
That is awesome! I just started a blog this December and added your blog as one of my favorites! Your clip is great in humor, animation and poopy sculpture. Hope all is well...Scott
I found your blog looking for an old friend of mine...Nate Tungseth. If you are still in touch with him, I'd appreciate it very much if you told him Amy G. was looking for him and that she still has the same email address (and is glad to see he's been working with insects).
Hi Amy,
Your message has been forwarded.
