'Dillos

Since I brought up the Armadillos in the comments on my last post, I figured I'd show them as well.
To re-cap, these are part of a series of paintings for a friend's nursery. She wanted pairs of animals floating along to make a Noah's Ark theme for her son. So she asked several artist friends to paint a pair or two to go on the wall. And since my friend graduated from the University of Texas, I paid homage to that with armadillos on a traditional float trip. Hook 'em Horns!


P.S. I'm not a football fan, but I do love tubing down the Guadalupe!
